“Cassie, I want to take care of
you. Is that something you’re still interested in?”
She nodded.
“Well, then you need to trust
that I’m going to make the right choices. We’ll figure things out as we go
along.”
“I do trust you, but moving in
here is just the craziest fucking
idea I’ve heard in a long time.”
The president patted his thigh. “There
can’t be buts when it comes to trust
between us.”
Slowly, she moved in his
direction. “You want me to sit on your lap?”
“No, I want your backside over
it. Now come here and put yourself across my knee,” he said, curling his finger
in the air.
“You can’t be serious,” she
managed through a nervous laugh.
His arms crossed as his eyes
darkened. “Your gorgeous heinie deserves to be spanked for two reasons: One, for
not trusting that I have your best interests at heart, and two, for the
unacceptable language that shouldn’t be flowing from a young lady’s mouth. Especially
my young lady. Now, are you coming,
Cassie? Or should I come and get you?” he asked, calmly drumming his fingers on
the cushioned couch fabric.
