HE ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES #WIPITUPWEDNESDAY

I can’t believe Wednesday is already here, and it’s time to WIP IT UP once again!  Our thanks, as always, to Melody for keeping this hop alive, active and fun for all!  As you can see, we do have a cover for our newest title, 'The Author's Friends', and it should be published soon!  In the meantime, this is a continuation of last week’s snippet from our WIP ‘The Sail of Their Lives’.  We don’t need much of a lead in: Jackie didn’t keep her promise that she wouldn’t meddle in the murder investigation.  Naturally, Daniel comes through with his promise to redden her bottom.  We all knew he would!

With her head down, large droplets of tears fell quickly onto the white, puffy comforter.  “I’m so sorry.” 

“Yes, I’m sure you are, but I always keep my promises.  You, on the other hand, do not,” he said softly as he rested his back against the headboard.  “Come over here, please.” He patted his lap and waited patiently for her to comply.  She looked at him with wet, pleading eyes. 

“Did I mention the paddle hanging in that closet over there, sweet girl?  This would not be a good time to test me.”

She nodded and hurriedly got herself into position over his lap.  Her head rested comfortably on her hands as Daniel carefully raised the soft, white nightshirt.  She tensed her buttocks in anticipation as a cool breeze from the ceiling fan wafted down. 

 

Quickly, he smoothed her full, round behind and spoke in a gentle tone.  “Don’t clench, Jackie.  I want this bottom nice and soft when I punish it.”  As she complied, his large palm connected sharply with her bare cheek, and he waited for a glowing handprint to appear before striking the other side.  “I am going to spank your backside until it is good and red, young lady,” he said calmly smacking both round globes with an even tempo.  “Then you are going to spend some time in the corner, so you can think about how dangerous this situation is.”

Jackie cried softly as his firm hand met again and again with her tender bottom.  She could feel Daniel's hard cock through the worn jeans and imagined how much he wanted her.  But she also figured he was trying to prove a point, and her next move would be in that dreaded corner across the room holding her nightshirt up to her waist.

True to his word, Daniel gently moved her off his lap once her bottom was rosy and radiant.  He snapped his fingers and pointed to the corner. “I want your nose touching the wall and bare bum out.”

Jackie slowly sauntered over to the corner, raised her cotton, knee-high nightshirt above her waist and dramatically pushed her crimson, bare bottom out on display.

“The fact that I didn’t manage to spank the sass out of you, is just unbelievable.” He leaned on his elbow and marveled at the magnificent exhibition in front of him.

She rolled her eyes to the ceiling and opened her mouth to speak.

“Don’t even think about it.  You know very well there’s no talking while you're in the corner.  And you are going to be standing there, with your nightshirt bunched around your waist for the next fifteen minutes.”

When corner-time ended, Daniel was waiting for her in the deep oxford, large overstuffed leather chair that sat next to the bed.  With arms outstretched, he waited to comfort her as she ran into his arms and got settled in his lap.

“Have I told you how much I hate to stand in the corner?” she asked planting her nose in the folds of his warm, smooth cheek.

“Yes, a couple of times.”  He lovingly secured a strand of hair behind her ear and kissed the side of her head.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she placed the side of her face gently next to his, inhaling a musky scent.  “But we need to have a plan.  What are we going to do?"


He knew she could feel his erection and moved her slightly to the side.  “We’re going to stick together.  That’s why I need you to behave yourself.  I need you, Jackie.  I want you…”
