“They can start without us.” Turning around, he reached for two large pillows and placed one behind her head before making sure that her hips rested comfortably on the other. As he raised her knees with one hand, his intense gaze met hers. 

“Keep those eyes open and on me, Ashley.” His voice was velvety as he retrieved her pink Lucite hairbrush from the nightstand and promptly smacked each lower cheek with it. Twice.

WELCOME  TO WIPITUP WEDNESDAY!  I have been missing from the blog hops for a while, but that's because I've been busy writing two Christmas stories!  Christmas With a Little Twist is a story that is part of the Mischief Under the Mistletoe Anthology (currently available for Pre-order), and the snippet I'm sharing today is from On His Naughty List -- which is now available at your favorite retailers listed below! Okay, let's get to the reason you're all here! I hope you enjoy today's small scene and as a quick set-up, let's just say that MDPD Lieutenant Andy Geraci is a major rule follower, and his girlfriend Ashley Scott, a young detective from the NYPD specializing in profiling -- is not.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

Her heart beat furiously as she looked up to discover Andy casually leaning up against the open door that connected their rooms. His arms were crossed, his expression was stern, and it only took a second for her to see that he was glaring at a small bottle of lube on her end table.
