Hi there and Happy Halloween weekend! On November 6, my free Christmas story will be posted on this blog under the title Evie's Christmas Cowboy. Here's another important piece of Evie's background before I share the entire story!

 

December seemed to be a good time for me and my fiancée to get away. The holidays were coming and we both needed to be in a happier space. Unfortunately, my parents passed away a couple of weeks before Christmas, and as an only child I was left to deal with the arrangements. Naturally, all the drama was way too much for Billy to handle, and he made it clear that my impending nervous breakdown seemed to be around the corner. So instead of a Christmas getaway, be bid me a quick adiós. Is there really a graceful way to back out of an engagement?

Please note that an earlier version of this short story was previously published as Her Urban Cowboy Christmas which was part of an anthology titled 12 Naughty Days of Christmas 2022. This new edition has been retitled and updated with several new chapters. And what makes this edition even better, is that our heroine now has an all new background!
